How can I configure threshold billing?

billwerk can automatically invoice metered usage components and additional invoice items ("rated items") after exceeding defined thresholds. This means that you do not have to wait for the next regular billing date. Instead, the items are billed when a certain amount has been reached. To configure the threshold value settlement, go to "Settings > Payment > Billing" and activate the threshold value settlement with the checkbox "Enabled".

Afterwards, you can set an amount for each means of payment used, from which billwerk should automatically charge interim bills if the amount is exceeded. If you also want to settle "additional invoice items / rated Items" after a threshold value has been exceeded, set the check mark under "Include rated items".

You can deactivate or reactivate threshold billing for individual contracts. To do this, go to the customer's contract details and click on "On" or "Off" in the "Threshold Billing"section.
