Onboarding CBD merchants
Yes we onboard CBD merchants, the only thing that you need to be aware of is that VISA and MasterCard has categorized CBD merchant as high risk.
And when a merchant is high risk the acquiring bank and VISA/MasterCard have some requirement and price.
Disclaimer: The prices, requirements and terms below may have changed since this article have been written. Billwerk+ Payments facilitates the contact with the acquiring bank and you as a merchant will have a direct agreement with the acquiring bank.
Website requirement
A disclaimer must appear in the footer on the website. "CBD products are not medicines and can not diagnose, treat or cure diseases. Always consult your own doctor before starting a new dietary program."
The merchant is not allowed to advertise towards markets where the product is illegal or by other means encourage customers to incriminate oneselves.
The page contains links to terms of trade that comply with EU consumer law.
The customer must accept the terms of trade before the purchase can be completed.
A customer service number or live chat must appear on the website.
The product texts must contain the level of THC. The THC level must not exceed 0.2%.
The CBD oil can only be sold as a dietary/nutritional supplement or cosmetic product. Check the local legislation to ensure you also follow the market rules.
Other requirement
NO sale outside the EU (Sweden has been removed from the country list due to legal issues).
No products that contain nicotine (tobacco or nicotine related ingredients) or cannabis seeds are allowed to be sold on this agreement.
If the merchant sell both CBD and seeds, the higher pricing is given (seeds pricing).

Seed requirements and Pricing
Website requirement
Merchant name and location must be displayed in the payment window.
A disclaimer on the website (clearly visible in the footer) must specify that seeds are strictly for souvenirs, storage, etc. and illegal to germinate in most countries.
Other requirements
No smart shop products such as herbs, poppers, mushrooms or other related products are allowed.
No information about germination or how to grow the seeds.
No mention of sale via credit card to countries outside the EU.
